Job Description

As a Data Analyst in the Delivery team at Virtusa, you will be responsible for supporting and managing data delivery pipelines across testing and production environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that data is transferred accurately, securely, and on time between systems.

You will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and implementation partners to understand data transfer requirements and ensure compliance with defined data management standards. Key Responsibilities (Phase-Wise Explanation)

Data Management Plan (DMP) Review Phase

In the initial phase, you will contribute to planning and documentation activities that define how data is managed across the study or project lifecycle.

• Contribute to preparing and reviewing the Data Management Plan (DMP)
• Provide raw data standards, including eCOA or measurement data when applicable
• Assist in developing and reviewing the Data Transfer Agreement (DTA)
• Review study-level data management documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy

This phase focuses on planning, standards, and documentation, helping ensure data quality from the beginning.

Test Data Transfer Phase

During this phase, you will work on validating data pipelines before they go live.

• Create data mapping configuration files
• Generate test datasets for validation
• Upload mapping files into pre-production or test environments

• Perform acceptance testing on data transfer files

This stage ensures that data flows correctly and meets expectations before production deployment.

Production Data Transfer Phase

Once testing is complete, you will support the move to live environments.

• Submit change requests for production deployment
• Upgrade data transfer pipelines to production environments
